Dear Families,

What a privilege to be with Hosanna.  God has blessed her with dedicated, passionate teachers, God-honoring staff, and fun-loving students.  The students, your children, have started the process of setting goals for the year.  They began by using the theme “Closer to Christ, Closer to Others”.  They have asked each organization and class to come up with sub-themes that would support the larger picture.  Some of these themes are, “Down and Dirty” (the idea of serving even when it’s not fun), “No Matter the Cost” (the idea of living for Jesus even when it’s painful), “There is No Victory without Honor” (the idea of winning isn’t worth it if Jesus has to sit on the sidelines), “24:7” (taken from Jeremiah 24:7 which talks about living for God with all of the heart).  These themes will continue to be developed throughout the year.  Pray for them and us as we help guide them.

I received a phone call from one of our graduates who attends a Christian university.  In the course of our conversation, she said she had been visiting with outer kids who had grown up in Christian schools. Some of the schools the students partied together and other schools were so tight with rules it was stagnating.  She then said, “I am so glad Hosanna taught us that Jesus is all the time and we could have fun while we were honoring Him.”  I know that this is one student’s perspective, but God help us that every student that attends Hosanna would feel the same.

Thank you for intrusting your child to us to educate body, soul, and spirit.  Our doors are always open for you to visit with us.
