Hosanna Christian School (PreK-12th grade) offers quality education and excellent programs.  Hosanna  is fully accredited (K-12th grades) by both the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools and the Association of Christian Schools International.  Accreditation allows students to apply for numerous scholarships and be accepted into colleges and universities without prior testing.  Hosanna is also registered with the State of Oregon’s Education Department.  This registration and our accreditation allows students to transfer from private to public schools without the loss of credits.

MISSION STATEMENT

Hosanna Christian School exists to partner with Christian parents, students, and local churches to educate the whole student (spirit, mind and body) integrating Christ as first in all things.

In the spring of 1989, Beverly Hesser and Davette Fowler began praying about the need for a Christian school in Klamath Falls. After just a few weeks, their prayers were answered and the foundation for Hosanna Christian School was laid. The school grew at several locations in local churches over the next 12 years.

Finally in April 2002 Hosanna fulfilled its dream by moving into a new 66,336 sq. ft. building on a 26 acre parcel in the Gatewood community. Our library was completed in September 2005 along with two additional classrooms to accomodate increased enrollment. The 9,000 sq. ft. gymnasium was completed in December 2005 and is being utilized by both the volleyball and basketball teams as well as for physical education classes. In September 2006 and additional two classrooms were completed to house the Middle School.

Hosanna Christian School is governed by a self-perpetuating Board of Directors. It is not affiliated with any church or denomination but has an evangelical statement of faith.

Since its inception, Hosanna Christian School has been a school that crosses denominational boundaries and a place where parents and children are joined together in a Christian educational setting. In this setting, our Lord Jesus Christ will always be central to all education and activities.
